LCA’s Winter Wonderland!

We took a detour from our Creative Curriculum units in January and spent the month learning all about WINTER!  We talked about what animals live in the cold weather, which animals hibernate (and what hibernate means), and what activities we can do both inside AND outside during the winter season! We sang songs, played games, and even made SNOW since we have had had a snowless winter season thus far! We measured penguins and other artic animals with ice cubes, and created winter wonderland crafts!
