Splish-Splash Summer Session!

It was wonderful to see all of the kids’ smiling faces at Little Corner Academy “Splish-Splash, Fishing for FUN Camp!! This first summer session was filled with new friends, crafts, stories, water play, and a whole lot of “under the sea” learning!  We counted seashells that we found in our sand table, used cubes to measure sea creatures, sorted objects by seashell color, played “I-Spy” in blue (water) rice, went magnet noodle fishing, created, and named our own pet fish and SO much more! Our days were filled with fine and gross motor activities! The kids explored the motor room, sensory bins, colored, painted, and danced to many “under the sea” songs!  Our mornings were filled with imaginative play as we engaged our little learners in our daily Floortime Model activities! Whether we were chefs in the kitchen cooking with the play food, on a trip to the safari with our jungle animals, or playing puppets, the kids were working on increasing communication and social skills.  We have SO many pictures to share of our many adventures and are now counting down for our Disney Camp that is just 9 days away!
