Twisty Tubes and Curvy Tunnels!
Novembers Creative Curriculum was all about tubes and tunnels! The children spent their days learning about the differences between tubes and tunnels and then identifying where we would see each of them. They had fun taking turns exploring homemade tubes and tunnels in our therapy rooms during OT and speech and LOVED racing cars down tubes to see how far each of them would go! We learned about animals that live in tunnels, played a tube matching game, and placed tubes together to make marble runs on our therapy room walls! It is safe to say that their favorite activity was making bird feeders out of paper towel tubes!
We ended November celebrating Thanksgiving by having an LCA feast! The children worked on expanding their palates by tasting turkey, corn, mashed potatoes, rolls, and macaroni and cheese and identifying what we were each thankful for!
